Event Theme Ideas For Each Month

Coming up with a theme for your event can be a challenging task; especially when you want to come up with an idea that is original and that will entertain your guests. It is easy to recreate events done in the past, since you have a clear understanding of what works and what doesn’t. However, sometimes we want to try something different, but sometimes different is an unfamiliar territory that can be uneasy area to trek to.  Creating an idea for your event can be difficult, because you want to make sure that everyone will like it, so all the pressure is on you when you are responsible for coming up with a fantastic idea.  One easy method to come up with a theme is to determine when your event is taking place. In other words, I always look at the month the event day falls on and check to see if any important dates fall in the same month. This helps me determine whether I can create an event that is relatable to that date, which leads to me other ideas, which leads me to the next idea and so on and so forth. You get the idea.

I brain stormed a few event theme ideas for each month in 2016. You are not limited to these ideas and perhaps, my idea could lead you to a new idea. Hopefully this can help you understand how one can come up with themes and perhaps can aid you on your next event.

There you have it. Here is one method of how I come up with theme ideas. Another way of coming up with ideas is to look at popular events that are happening in your city, since many people can easily relate to them.  I’m sure there are numerous ways of developing your theme ideas. If you have other ways you would like to share, please send me a message. I’d love to hear them!
